Descripción: Important Luxury Hotel & Residences - Dubai - United Arab Emirates Job Purpose: Under the general guidance of the Restaurant Manager, assist in ensuring friendly, efficient and effective service of food and beverages to all guests in a timely fashion in accordance with standards and individual guest requirements, at all times respecting the Mondrian Doha Vision. Duties & Functions: • Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times • Ensure good communication with Management • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items • Prepare and check tables before service • Clear and reset tables • Ensure that all Company practices and procedures are met when delivering food from the kitchen to the Guest • Ensure the overall cleanliness and order of the restaurant tables, chairs, floors, and service station at all times • Ensure that all cleaning duties are completed in allocated times to the Company standards • Complete all opening and closing procedures • Must be proficient in effective and efficient table maintenance • Be assertive and attentive at ALL times • Have thorough knowledge of all product and service procedures Specific Job Knowledge & Skills: • High School Diploma or equivalent required • One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel • Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor • Ability to multitask, work in a fast paced environment and have a high level attention to detail • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English • Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments • Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork Physical Abilities: • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 kg without assistance • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping Benefits & Compensation: Basic Salary: AED 1,680 = USD 456 + Tips or service charge Company provided housing: shared room (2 in 1) in shared apartment Medical Insurance Biennial return ticket to home destination 30 calendar day paid annual vacation Duty meals in employee dining
